Project Overview
At Henry Road, we were invited to redesign a series of key spaces within a West Bridgford home — including three bedrooms, the main bathroom, shower room and downstairs WC.
The aim was to create a cohesive, modern interior with improved storage, refined finishes and a calm, connected feel throughout.
Working closely with the homeowners, we developed the designs from initial concept through to technical detailing, joinery manufacture and full project coordination of all bathroom spaces. The focus throughout was on considered layouts, natural materials and a warm, understated aesthetic.
Bedrooms — Bespoke Wardrobes Designed for Each Space
Each of the three bedrooms required tailored storage that felt fully integrated into the architecture of the room.
We designed and crafted bespoke wardrobes for every space, combining full-height joinery with carefully considered internal layouts tailored to each room’s use. Finishes were selected to complement the palette of each bedroom, with clean, minimal detailing to maintain a calm and contemporary feel.
All joinery was manufactured in our Nottingham workshop, ensuring a consistent level of quality and precision across the project.
Bathroom — Calm, Modern & Refined
The main bathroom was fully reimagined to create a softer, more practical space for everyday use.
A refined layout improves circulation, while the combination of large-format floor tiles and small, glossy square wall tiles introduces contrast and texture. A bespoke vanity unit provides generous storage without overwhelming the space, paired with carefully selected brassware, lighting and mirrors to create a warm, relaxed atmosphere.
The result is a bathroom that feels timeless, balanced and easy to live with.
Shower Room — Updated Finishes, Same Footprint
The shower room retained its existing layout, with the focus placed on elevating the finishes and detailing.
A refreshed green palette, new wall and floor tiles, updated brassware and improved positioning of key elements — including a dual-fuel towel rail — bring a more cohesive and considered feel to the space. Subtle adjustments to the shower detailing and storage further enhance usability without altering the overall footprint.
Downstairs WC — Compact but Considered
The downstairs WC was redesigned to feel more resolved and visually connected to the wider scheme.
A bespoke wall-hung vanity introduces practical storage, while a green palette — distinct from but complementary to the main bathroom — creates continuity across the home. Refined tiling, contemporary brassware and a simple mirror arrangement complete the space.
Though compact, the WC now feels calm, functional and carefully composed.
Project Coordination
We managed and coordinated all trades across the bathroom, shower room and WC — including plumbing, electrical, tiling, decorating and installation.
This ensured a smooth and well-sequenced process, with each stage delivered in line with the design intent.
Final Outcome
The Henry Road project brings a sense of cohesion and clarity to this West Bridgford home.
With bespoke wardrobes across all three bedrooms and carefully refined bathroom spaces, the interiors now feel more functional, comfortable and visually connected. A consistent approach to materials, colour and joinery creates a calm, modern environment designed to support everyday living.
