Pavillon Getaway

Overview

In collaboration with Jackson-Crane Architecture, we delivered a full interior design scheme for this private home, spanning the entrance, open-plan living space, utility, master bedroom and dressing room.

The project focused on creating a calm, cohesive interior with a strong sense of flow between spaces. Through careful spatial planning, material consistency and bespoke joinery, each area was designed to feel connected while responding to its specific function.

Entrance — Defined, Functional & Welcoming

The entrance was reconfigured to maximise a compact footprint and create a more purposeful arrival space.

Unnecessary partition walls were removed to improve openness, while a bespoke bench and peg wall introduce practical storage with a refined, furniture-like quality. A fire-rated reeded glass door provides privacy while maintaining light and visual connection to the rest of the home.

Open-Plan Living — Flow, Materiality & Form

The open-plan space is defined by a continuous language of timber, form and material.

A slatted ash feature wall integrates a concealed door to the utility, maintaining a clean and uninterrupted elevation. This element transitions into the kitchen, where a curved timber form softens the geometry of the space and draws movement naturally through the plan.

The kitchen combines timber with ceramic marble-effect surfaces, balancing warmth with durability. A central island is positioned to engage with both the living and dining areas, reinforcing the social nature of the space.

A polished concrete floor runs throughout, creating a seamless base that unifies the interior. The media wall continues the same material language, positioned lower to create a more relaxed and informal living area.

Utility — Practical & Integrated

The utility space is designed to support everyday living, providing generous storage and functional workspace while remaining visually consistent with the wider scheme.

Careful detailing ensures it feels integrated rather than secondary, maintaining the overall clarity of the design.

Master Bedroom — Calm & Atmospheric

The master bedroom was transformed through a focus on light, material and restraint.

LED lighting integrated within the existing beams introduces a soft, ambient glow, creating a calm and restful atmosphere. A bespoke headboard, combining natural stone and oak, anchors the space and adds subtle texture.

The result is a bedroom that feels quiet, balanced and considered.

Design & Delivery

The project was developed through detailed 3D visualisation, allowing the client to fully understand and refine each space before construction.

Following site survey and technical design, all bespoke elements were manufactured in our workshop and installed on site. Regular site involvement ensured the design was delivered with accuracy and consistency.
